Holidays- 10 days in Sweden- Bring It On!

Me and Bonnie are on the train to Zurich airport and when we're arriving in Sweden/stockholm we have to run to catch a night train to Harnosand.
We're getting there around 3.30 am...I think we're gonna be a bit slow tomorrow.
Tammie is joining us on Sunday evening in harnosand and next friday (the 3rd) we're heading down to Stockholm for the weekend.

I was working from home today, good cause then I could clean the apartment and pack with no stress.. And have lunch with Chris who just got back from London..picked him up yesterday at the airport and today I'm going..well soon we're going to Italy (can't wait!).

Anyway- Hejdå CH-land, Hej Sweden!
Can't wait to meet everyone back home!!

Dress of the summer

In 2 weeks time I'm going to 2 weddings- very nice indeed!

And finally i found THE dress ! My god- it's amazing and fun (color). Plus it was on sale- lucky me- woop woop!

My friends, It's absolutely NOT white, it's a BRIGHT crazy color, but saving that for the big days. Or we'll see maybe I just will wear it to one of the weddings.

Home office

Yesterday I was working from home, had no hot water so had to wait for the EWL guy to fix that.

Tuesday evening I went to Bonnies place, we sat on her balcony had some red vino and talked until midnight. Yesterday evening I spent with Chris.

If the weather is good this weekend we gonna hike Rigi- woop woop, bring it on!

Working from home breakfast... no stress...

I love the fact that working from home involves wokring in PJ half of the day but later on you need that shower and that cute top..

I went out during lunch- very happy to be able to do that in Luzern for once..

No wonder I have bruises all over my legs, this cut I just got from watching TV.....no comments..

What's up?

Heya!

I guess I was taking some kind of "holiday" here..

Anywho- I'm back and let's see what has been going on...

We had a Marketing Meeting in Luzern (Yay- no train for 2 days!) And on the Wed we took them out for a boat cruise- and Sunset dinner. Very appreciated!

I met up with Bonnie after work on Friday, haven't seen her in a week- long time for me and BonBon. Some catching up, some Assolo vino (yum!) and of course we had to put up the poster (that is now framed) that I gave Bonnie for her birthday (internal joke). Now it's up in the dining room, ha ha ha...

I left Bonnie to meet up with Chris, as Bonnie was chilling in her PJs at home she didnt feel like going out.

Me and Chris went to Picks for one (or two..or..) then to "jukebox-bar". We're sitting and talking and he asked me- so who would you wanna have here(more then me) now to make this evening perfect.. And I said well Bonnie Connerton of course, And WHO is standing behind me- Isn't it Bonnie Connerton?! So those two had planned that "surprise" for me, texting that evening.. And I WAS surprised and SO happy ! My two loves in Luzern- they are just crazy.... So we went to another "jukebox-bar" and ended the night at Madeleines- dancing.

Here are some pics from yesterday.

First up the old-school Glacier Cream from Piz Buin- gotta love it! (on sale - JnJ sale, so you can imagine how much I paid..hohoho)

I took this pic on the train on my way home to send to BonBon who was sitting at the hairdresser going mental...So I thought maybe this little gift will cheer her up, but no not really so I had to go there with some bubbly instead...

After a glass of bubbles she was way happier!

And here is the result- A happy ending indeed!

We didn't wanna stay in so we went to Picks for the first half of the football. But that was not really what we wanted so we jumped on a bus and went to the other side of the rail tracks. "Crazy!"

Bonnie showed the way to Shuur, I have never been there before- pretty cool, I liked it a lot!

Bye bye mascara!

Not the best picture but BOOM it's looks good! This was yesterday just before I went to sleep..welcome long, black eyelashes!

50/60 min it took and totally worth my 60 chf (usually 120chf). Bye bye mascara.

Midsummer weekend

Midsummer weekend... I didn't really think I was gonna celebrate midsummer this year. Friday went without celebration. I met up with Tammie and Chris for a couple of drinks at Picks and Billys.

Saturday I didn't think it was gonna happen either, until I talked to Bonnie and we decided we should gather a group for dinner.. just a BBQ, nothing special. Last minute thing, but the BBQ was awesome and it did turn into a smaller party with a great mix of people! It wasn't a proper midsummer-party but atleast it was something and we cheered for midsummer and we sang (the Swedes who was there) "Helan gar" (with snaps) so all good in the end.

Before the BBQ me and Chris did some errands and had lunch and some wine at Danielles (old Gio), we were suppose to go for a bikeride and a swim but my front tire on my bike is flat.. Got to get that fix asap!

Back on track- Wed- Hump Day- BBQ Day!

Back at Tammie's and Marc's terrace for a lovely BBQ again!

Me, Bonnie, Amy, Karla, Erin, Kristoffer, Tony and of course Marc and Tammie.

Last weekend was awesome.

Saturday we had a 5-6h long birthday brunch for Miss K.

Spend the evening with bfriend.

Sunday: Me, Miss K, Bonnie, Amy and Aine rented a boat -Living the dream moment. (I was whale jumping the boat as well, no ladder, my legs are BLUE now) Then we went to the park and was sunbathing there for a while. Swimming in the lake. Then dinner and evening I spent with bfriend.

Week so far has been good. Work has been up and down, yesterday was busy.

Running at lunch time, so workout schedule is fine. Weather is great, crazy hot, shouldn't complain but its so humid here now..Can't hardly sleep.

Friday was Sweden vs England.

Me and Miss K put our shirts on and cheered for our team, but England beat us and now we're out.. Anyway it was a fun and HOT (so warm here now..) night.

I miss you...

I'm weak today...late night last night and I'm missing MY FAMILY at home- Sweden..

Today my little sisters summer holiday starts. Oh I wished they could come here for some days this summer that would be SO much fun!

Thank god that my family here- Miss K- is coming to LU today..missing her as well...

I have 5 sisters. That my friends is AMAZING to have. A great thing that I was sittting and thinking about is that we're all different, so different.

I'm longing for the end of July to come now- then we're all togheter again, it was a while ago, about time!

Super Tuscans!!

4 days in Tuscany was AMAZING!!

Def. one of the best weekends this year.

We stayed in a Apartment/Villa next to the charming little village Castellina di Chianti.

We did 2 wine tastings, and both of them was incredible and totally different.

We had the best food, best wine (!) a lot of wine.. deep conversations, new friends, new experiences and A LOT of laughter! Bring me back!
